A Nigerian man is clamouring for Afrobeat superstar, Ayodeji ”Wizkid” Balogun to have a statue erected in his honour in Lagos State.
The man identified as Muhammed wants the statue to be a form of symbol to honour Wizzy for his musical feat.
Taking to his Twitter account @AleeMuhammed1, explained that a decade ago, the starboy had the best album titled ‘Superstar’, which was his debut album that was released in June 12, 2011 and it turned out to be the best selling.
He added that 10 years later, Wizzy released his fourth studio album, ‘Made in Lagos’ on October 30, 2020 and was a massive hit and for these achievements, he is campaigning for a statue to be erected for Wizkid.
Muhammed tweeted; “10years ago wizkid had the best album in game, 10 years later he bodied everyone and gave the best album. Make this man a statue in Lagos ASAP!”
