According to @thecakechancery, the harrasment occured few days ago and he reported the driver to the Bolt App publicly on Twitter but instead of getting a positive reply from them, she get something else in return.
The displeased customer shared the following message online, drawing the attention of so many people.
I was harrassed by one of @Boltapp_ng drivers days ago which I publicly reported to @Boltapp_ng on twitter. 2 of their staff called me and one told me to take down the tweet which I didn’t .
Bolt reported my account to twitter instead.. Bolt is an enabler, very shameful.. pic.twitter.com/eUoco9BO6w— Ibadan Baker (NIKE) (@TheCakeChancery) November 17, 2020
At the time of filing this report, Bolt App was yet to respond to the allegation.
Bolt and Uber became popular among elite Nigerians due to the transportation convenience they offered. But such negative reviews on a regular basis could have a negative effect on them in the long run.
